Polish Tourist Brands
Polish Tourist Brands is a project of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism implemented in
cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organization. It serves to promote tourist regions and
encourage travel to the most interesting regions of our country, as well as to support
professional management of local tourist products.
Beskids – a walk on the watere
Lake Żywieckie, Międzybrodzkie, or maybe rafting down the
Soła River? The water reservoirs of the Beskid Żywiecki are just
perfect for walking on the water on SUP boards. Their great
advantage is the ability to launch from almost anywhere. Here
you will „catch” the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and if
you like watching gliders, be sure to sail to the vicinity of the
dam in Porąbka and drift at the foot of Góra Żar! Everyone can
plan their unique SUP route. The Beskids are waiting!
Lublin – a city full of inspiration
ŚLublin impresses every visitor with its rich history told through
its unusual monuments, numerous museums, atmospheric
streets, and secrets hidden in the walls of tenement houses.
The original, well-preserved architecture, 700-year-old history
and multiculturalism are visible at every step.In the Old Town,
in an area of 1km2, there are over 100 architectural monuments
from numerous eras, including Lublin Castle and the Holy Trinity
Chapel with Byzantine-Ruthenian frescoes, unique in Europe.
Toruń – to appreciate the monuments and culinary specialties
Pearl of the North – this is what Toruń is called, one of the
most beautiful historical cities in Poland. Friendly, full of
greenery and monuments, it is famous as the birthplace
of Nicolaus Copernicus. The perfectly preserved Gothic
old town is inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and
Natural Heritage List. All visitors leave here with packages of
the most famous Polish biscuits – Toruń gingerbread baked
here since the 14th century.
Land of Loess Gorges – for health and relaxation
In the western part of the Lublin Province, just two hours from
Warsaw, there is a region the name of which refers to a dense
network of fascinating loess ravines. Here there are many hi-
king, biking, horse riding and Nordic walking trails waiting for
visitors who want a more profound contact with nature. People
looking for rest, health and an improvement in well-being have
an opportunity to take advantage of the wide choice of sanato-
riums and wellness centres located around the Nałęczów SPA.
