Cieszyn Silesia – sport, culture and nature
The region is located in the south-eastern part of Silesia, centred
around the city of Cieszyn and the Olza and Vistula rivers. The
unusual combination of natural values, the rich folk culture of
the Silesian Highlanders, the inhabitants’ strong sense of re-
gional identity and the interesting Piast and Austro-Hungarian
history make it a place worth visiting. And thanks to the special
microclimate and brine deposits, in mountain towns, in Ustroń
and Wisła, you can combine relaxation and rest with health.
Poznań – the pearl of Wielkopolska
Poznań is one of the oldest cities in Poland. And also the tastiest.
The editors of the Michelin culinary guide announced that the
city will be included in the next issue. You must visit Ostrów
Tumski to see the oldest cathedral in Poland, then visit one of
the newest castles in Europe, erected at the beginning of the
20th century for Emperor Wilhelm II, and the Enigma Cipher
Centre. It takes 20 minutes to get to the palace in Rogalin and
the famous oaks or the castle in Kórnik and the arboretum.
Łódź – The promised land for tourists
In the 19th century, Łódź was a real powerhouse in the textile
industry and gave it a unique character. To this day, it is visible
in the revitalized urban spaces. The city is also famous for its film
heritage. Cinema lovers are encouraged to take a walk along
the UNESCO City of Film Lodz Route, where you can find the
locations of Oscar-winning productions. It is also worth visiting
the modern Orientarium ZOO Łódź. For relaxation – Botanical
Garden, the Łagiewnicki Forest or one of several dozen parks.
Enotarnowskie – slow down, enjoy the warmth and flavours
The perfect region for slow tourism. Rest in the bosom of natu-
re, captivating views, delicious food based on local products,
people with passion talking about their activities and bicycle
trips. All this can be found in the warmest city in Poland, i.e., in
Tarnów and its surroundings, in EnoTarnowskie. A visit here is an
opportunity to get to know the pearl of the Polish Renaissance
and to savour products from local vineyards as well as delicious
local cheeses, cold cuts, breads, honeys and local beans.

are picturesque limestone rocks, gates, spiers and rock win-
dows. This is a real mecca for climbers and speleologists. Jura
is perfect for hiking, cycling, horse riding, and in winter, skiing.
The Trail of the Eagles’ Nests leads here, its name comes from
the castles built on the tops of the hills. Its walking variant is
168.7 km long, and the cycling one – 190,4 kms and runs from
Kraków to Częstochowa.
